Fishing / golf nearby |
| Description: Aban ceimh is a 250 year old traditional thatched cottage set right on the sea in a pristine, secluded bay 20 minutes from Galway city. Excellent hiking, touring, fishing and golf nearby. The seaside cottage faces Galway Bay, the oyster catchers in their boats and the ruins of the castle straight across. This highly recommended but secluded spot, lies undisturbed in a serene Irish country setting. Each morning is a fresh awakening to the sight of the deep blue sea and the softness of the countryside around you. The northern light weaves and filters through the sky, shifting appearances swiftly as the day slowly moves on. You adjust to the quiet; but then the sounds of nature whisper past your ear and it is at that point exactly, as you lean over the gate and look out at nothing in particular beyond the manless hills, that you feel it. | ||
