Giant's Causeway, County Antrim County Antrim is a province of Ulster and home of Northern Ireland's capital Belfast. Its deepwater port is perhaps most famous as the place where the ill-fated Titanic was built. The other main towns of Carrickfergus, Antrim, Lisburn, Ballymena and Ballymoney provide plenty of places to visit. Antrim has approximately 560,000 inhabitants and has hosted a thriving linen manufacturing industry for many years. Antrim  is about 46 miles from north to south and 27 miles from east to west.

Away from the towns, the Bann valley has fertile farming land. However, the county is mostly uplands and hills providing ample beautiful scenery and opportunity for walkers. There are many famous and idyllic places to visit including the Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle. Other places of interest to visit include Rathlin Island, Islandmagee, Carnlough, Broughshane, Cullybackey, Glenarm Forest Park, Cushendall and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge.
